Review of Counted With The Stars by Connilyn Cossette

I was looking forward to reading this book. The book summary sounded interesting, but I have never read Biblical Fiction before, so I wasn't sure if I would like the book or not. I ended up loving the book. The story was so captivating and I just wanted to keep reading to find out what happens next. This was one of those books you won't want to put down. I enjoyed the story of Moses leading the Hebrews through the eyes of an Egyptian slave. The story was very well written and although it is fiction it wasn't far fetched and it was believable. I thought Kiya was a great character. I was rooting for her while I was reading the book and I became invested as a reader in what happened to her and her family. All the characters were well written, even the "bad" characters. This book also had some surprises and the plot wasn't predictable, which I love as a reader. I am hooked and I can't wait for the next book in the Out From Egypt series. I would definitely recommend this book, it's a great read!

I received this book for free from Bethany House Publishers for my honest review.
